Jewish Outreach Institute: The Grandparents Circle

My friends at the Jewish Outreach Institute have posted a publication as part of their program The Grandparents Circle, an education and support program for Jewish grandparents whose adult children have intermarried. The Grandparents Circle helps empower grandparents to nurture the Jewish identities of their grandchildren in a respectful, yet meaningful way.

If you are a grandparent of interfaith grandchildren, or if this subject interests you, please consider registering and downloading the JOI’s guide by clicking here: Join the Grandparents Circle. Make sure you click the option that says Grandparenting Your Interfaith Grandkids: A Self-Guided Learning Experience. And please tell your friends who may also be grandparenting interfaith grandchildren to do the same!

About Tori Avey

Tori Avey acts as editor and curator of The History Kitchen, where she shares her own food history writing and seeks out creative contributors from throughout the culinary world. She explores the story behind the food – why we eat what we eat, how the foods of different cultures have evolved, and how yesterday’s food can inspire us in the kitchen today. In addition to her work on The History Kitchen, Tori writes an award-winning kosher food blog called The Shiksa in the Kitchen.
