The coffee is by far my favorite item! I buy 4lbs at a time. I also love, love, love the cinnamon babka!

Who doesn’t love EVERYTHING at Zabar! When were you in NYC? At any rate, I can’t pick just one thing that I love in Zabar’s so I have a few. The olives when you walk in are always amazing, the cheese counter is also amazing (samples, please!) But I often go to Zabar’s to get the most hard to find, positively delicious jam ever-Cloudberry Jam. The only place in NYC you can find it and it’s SO GOOD. I made cloudberry hamentashen last Purim.

I have to say the rugelach. It is so hard to find a store that has good rugelach where I live, and who has the time to make it haha. The selection at Zabar’s is amazing and I can honestly say I’ve never disliked any kind I’ve had from there!
I haven’t had the good fortune to visit Zabar’s so winning this gift would be an amazing first and not to mention memorable!

I’ve never been to Zabar’s (or even New York), but I browsed their website a bit and have to say that my favorite item is the “Picnic Time Toluca Insulated Cooler Tote for 2.” It’s so cute and romantic. I imagine it would be great for a picnic in the park, or if you went on a little day hike, or even just plopped it down somewhere with a little bit of room and had a simple lunch with someone special.
Their bagels are amazing from what Ive heard! Unfortunately for me, I live on the other side of the country.
ummm can i say “EVERYTHING!!!” oh please don’t make me choose just one thing…okay, if i must… wow…living in florida now, i must say i haven’t had good rugelach in six long years…so i’ll say rugelach…oh no, do i have to chose between chocolate and cinnamon??? oh this is torture…okay…okay…cinnamon. i’m going with cinnamon. now i’m twitching and drooling. (sigh).

I love their onion bagels! I had one in December while visiting and nothing in Nashville comes even close. I will be ordering them!

This New Yorker, now living in Los Angeles misses most of all the NOVA from Zabar’s!!! I HAVE to go into the shop when I am in NYC visiting and buy some to eat THEN and to bring back with me.
I love Zabar’s so much I sent their gift baskets as corporate gifts for holiday 2010. Too bad I couldn’t send one to myself, so being gifted Zabar’s Gift Box would be the sweetest birthday present to this September born, New York City-home sick girl.
Rugelach! Almost as good as mine
OMG….I love Zabars….although I am from RI, whenever I am in NY, my family and I always stop by with our cooler. Their corned beef is the absolute best! Their mustards and breads, and olives, and oh yes their lox….to die for! Everyone is always friendly there…and they are always willing to let you sample whatever you like….LOVE ZABARS!!!!
Having lived in NJ for over 30 years, now out in Missouri for 11, I miss almost everything from Zabars.. Bagels and coffee were my most beloved items.. Maybe someone could teleport some out to me?

Love the Nova Smoked Salmon–I used to live in New York and spent many Sunday afternoons “cruising the Cuisinarts” on the second floor.

I love love love NYC! I visit often and always make a Zabars run at least a few times a year. It’s hard for me to say I have a favorite, but my girlfriend reminded me that by the time we have made it home I have eaten all of the smoked whitefish, so that is my fave, she’s right. Best stuff!!!!
